Bringing Local Makers to Market
Every Friday, SABAH Nepal’s premises come alive as a space for local exchange, enterprise and community engagement. Through its weekly weekend market, SABAH Nepal brings together products made by home-based workers (HBWs), local producers and its own network, creating a regular platform for makers to showcase and sell their work.
The market provides home-based workers and local producers with an opportunity to connect directly with customers, gain visibility and access a local marketplace. By bringing different producers together under one roof, the initiative also creates space for interaction, networking and learning within the community.
Held every week, the Friday market has become a regular point of local engagement, connecting SABAH Nepal’s work with the wider community and helping make home-based products more visible and accessible.
